How to create page, email, and blog templates in the layout editor
In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how to create page, email, and blog templates in the layout editor.
Using a template lets you control the structure of different types of content on a blog, page, or email. You can create templates in the design manager by dragging and dropping modules.
To create a new template.
Steps to Follow:
Step 1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing go to Files and Templates and click Design Tools.
Step 2. At the top of the finder, click File and create a New file.
Step 3. Click the dropdown menu and select Drag and drop. Then click Next.
Step 4. Click the template type dropdown menu and select a type.
Step 5. Blog templates for individual blog posts and blog listing pages
Step 6. Email: templates for emails.
Step 7. Page: templates for your website and landing pages.
Step 8. System: templates for error, password prompt, and email subscription pages.
Step 9. Enter a file name. When you're done, click Create.
Step 10. You can add more modules to your template using the inspector on the right-hand side of the design manager.
Step 11. In the upper right, click Preview to see a preview of your template on a web browser.
Step 12. Once you've finalized your template, click Publish changes in the upper right.
