How-to create lists in HubSpot.
In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to create lists in HubSpot.
The lists tool helps you to organize your contacts and companies by the common traits.
These lists can further be used in workflows, sending marketing emails, sending customer satisfaction surveys, and many more.
Steps to follow:
1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to the Contacts, and then click lists.
2. On this page, click “Create List” in the upper right corner.
3. Select an option, whether you want to create a contact-based list or a company-based list. Enter a name for your list. Below the list name, You will see two options, Active and Static List.
4. An Active is a dynamic list that automatically updates over time. It keeps adding contacts when the criteria are matched and removes them when they no longer meet the requirements.
5. Whereas, a static list does not update even if a new contact meets the criteria.
6. Select the list type.
7. On the next page, in the left panel, select the filter type to set the criteria for the list.
8. Search and select a property.
9. Now click on the apply filter. Hit Save in the upper right corner.
10. Contacts meeting the criteria will appear in the main panel. This will take a little time to process.
11. Now go back to the lists; here you will see the list you have just created.
12. Hover over the list name and click the dropdown More to perform more actions on the list.
Well, now you are all set to create lists in HubSpot.
