Boeing Promises Airlines Battery Fix
Boeing (NYSE:BA) giving airlines some peace of mind about its 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The company's chief executive said on Tuesday it is confident the recent battery problems will be fixed, assuring customers orders will still be delivered on time.
This promise comes after the Federal Aviation Administration grounded all Dreamliner aircraft due the battery problems which have cause electrical fires and fuel leaks on the runway.
Now, an international investigation into three separate companies is underway to see where things went wrong with the specific lithium-ion battery.
