Home Improvement is not a seller right now in China, or at least Home Depot doesn't think so. The company has announced that it will be closing its seven remaining large outlets in China.

According to the Associated Press, Home Depot's first foray into the region was the acquisition of Chinese home improvement chain The Home Way in 2006. The company had 12 locations, and the deal reportedly cost Home Depot $100 million.

The Home Depot has said that it will focus its efforts in the region moving forward on e-commerce.
