How to Make a Sketch from a Photo in Photoshop
In today's tutorial, we will teach you how to make a sketch from a photo in Photoshop.
Open the photo you need in Photoshop.
Go to the layers panel. Right-click on the layer and select Duplicate Layer from the list. Click ok in the pop-up window.
Click on Image at the top panel. Choose Adjustments – Desaturate from the list.
Click on Image at the top panel. Choose Adjustments – Levels from the list. Go to Input Levels. Set the first value to 40 and second value to 0,80. Leave the third value without a change. Click Ok.
Go to the layers panel. Right-click on the copy layer and select Duplicate Layer from the list. Click ok in the pop-up window.
Click on Image at the top panel. Choose Adjustments – Invert from the list.
Click on Filter at the top panel. Choose Blur – Gaussian Blur from the list. Set radius to 4 pixels. Click Ok.
Click on ‘Normal’ at the layers panel and set it to ‘Color Dodge’.
