How to Manage the Weather Notifications in OneLaunch (2023 Edition)?

Hi, and welcome to a short video that I put together for you to show you how to manage the weather notifications in your OneLaunch desktop search application.
So, the weather notifications it's once per day and it literally is just a quick notification to let you know what the forecast is looking like for that day it's very brief it's to the point it's succinct and it just gives you a sense of what the day ahead is looking like for your location if you'd like to read more you're able to click read more and go to our partner AccuWeather for much more detailed weather information for the current forecast and the day ahead I'm unfortunately it just happens once a day I can't force it but I took a screenshot of what it looks like just so you know what we're talking about and I want to show it to you because this video is about how to manage that notification and turn it off if you don't want it or back on if you've turned it off and do want to get these notifications back by default in the OneLaunch desktop search application we have your one per day daily weather notification on it's always on by default.
So, if you're a new OneLaunch user you should be getting these notifications and this video will show you how to turn them off if you would like to do so. So, just opening up my OneLaunch Chromium browser here's a screenshot I took prior. So, you can see here OneLaunch weather for British Columbia Canada today's forecast mostly sunny and very warm with the temperature breaking the 80 set the record of 80 set in 1950. So, these types of notifications again it's just daily once per day and gives you a quick heads up at what it's looking like for the day and if you click read more it's going to take you through to our AccuWeather partner to a page that's like this. So, giving you much more information on the weather and other pertinent information based on your location.
So, this weather notification is one of the ways in which we bring you weather value but as a reminder in addition to the notification you can always just click the weather icon dynamically changes on the OneLaunch dock that also will bring you directly in OneLaunch chromium to a lot of weather info but we really like coming to you once per day to bring that value and that heads up for the weather forecast for the day via the weather notification it always shows up here bottom right by the windows Notification Center and I'm going to show you now how to manage it and disable it if you'd like to go to the three dot menu top right on your OneLaunch dock click into settings once you're in settings simply go to notifications once and know the notifications currently the only type of notification that OneLaunch will ever send you via the windows notification center is weather notification. So, we haven't really filled this section out much and all you have to do is click off or if it's on just click the toggle and that will move it to off and then obviously vice versa if it's already off because you have prior but you want the notifications back just simply click the toggle back to on.
So, that is very very quick very very easy I'm going to leave mine on because I appreciate it but that's it that is the video just to give you that heads up and not you know guide to turning off the daily weather notifications if you'd like to but if not you know just ignore keep them on and I hope you really find value from them to give you that quick glance at the weather for the day ahead thank you very much for watching have a great day!
