How to put Your Metahuman into UE 5.2 and Make it a Character Player

In this video I show you how to use your Metahuman in UE 5.2 as a player character. If you are looking for the quick animation fix, look down in the chapters. I have it labeled as “The Fix”. Also, because I am a high school teacher, I talk a little slower and I get a little more into the details and try to explain why. If you don’t have a lot of time to listen, try playing the video at 1.5x to 2x speeds. I also leave in any errors, issues, or mistakes I make so you can see what they look like in case you experience them so you can fix them. I cannot tell you how frustrating perfect solution tutorials are to me. As a student, you will run into problems and want to know what needs to be fixed. Hopefully my examples and problems will help you.
I do not mention it in the video, but in the UE Marketplace, there is a Metahuman plugin. Get it and install it to the Engine. This will save you some time and the popups in the video I demonstrate should not happen.
