How to sort and filter data in MS Excel | Excel Tutorial
When we work with large amount of data there is requirement of data filtration. Microsoft Excel also provide feature to filter the data of spreadsheet using particular factors. Such as using textual match or using expressions. In MS Excel we can also sort the data in ascending or descending order. When we are required to sort the data values, first we have to select the entire data values using shift key of dragging the mouse. After selection we click on sort button.
We can also sort data items using font color as well using cell color.MS Excel provide the facility to using custom sorting options.
