How to use conditional formatting in MS Excel | Format using color
In today session we will discuss that how to use conditional formatting.Conditional formatting is a technique that is used to format the cell or group of cells using particular condition. For this purpose first we have to select the required cells from the worksheet. After making a proper selection we will click on the conditional tool. This will open a dialog by which we can apply different conditions.
Conditional formatting depends on condition, here condition is relational expression. A relational expression is either true or false depending on the value or content of cell. We can also apply conditional formatting using the text values of the cell.
Conditional formatting also allow us to apply different conditions basis on the color values. These color values include two types.
1. Font color
2. Cell color
Conditional formatting can also be used to format the date values. Here in conditional formatting tool there are different values that can be applied to the cell or group of cells.
