You can fix "COM Surrogate has stopped working" error in Windows 10 easily by running two simple commands. Try this and let's know if it works for you.
Type cmd in windows search. Right click on Command Prompt and Run as Administrator
Type the following command and hit enter
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Now type this command and hit enter
regsvr32 jscript.dll

Restart your computer and it should be fine now!
