unable to print and getting the error "user intervention required" in Windows on printers like HP, Canon, Epson, Sharp, Brother, Kyocera, Ricoh, Oki? You can fix it easily. Search Command Prompt in Windows search bar. Right click on the command prompt and run as administrator. Paste the following commands one by one and hit the enter key after each.
net stop spooler
sc config spooler start= auto
net start spooler
The first command stops Print Spooler service temporarily to do the next the step without any errors.
The second command set the print spooler startup type to automatic.
The last commands restarts print spooler service.
The printer will be working fine now! Restart your system and printer if the issue persists to apply the changes you have made!
Hope this helps!
