High cpu usage or memory usage by "Service Host Local System" in Windows can be fixed easily by these two methods.
Method 1: Press Windows Key+R to open Run. Type sru to open SRU folder (C:\Windows\System32\sru)
Find SRUDB.dat file and delete/rename it as SRUDB.dat.old
Restart your system to apply the changes
Method 2: Restore the health of Windows by DISM scan. Search Command Prompt in Windows searchbar - right click and run as admin. Type the following command and hit the enter key to execute the command.
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

The scan will take some time to complete. Restart your system when it's done!
