High Performance power plan missing from Power Options in Control panel on Windows 7/8/10/11? You can fix it easily by this simple method! Copy the following code first.
powercfg -s 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c
Right click on the start button - terminal admin - paste the above code there and hit the enter key.
Now go to control panel. High performance will be added there!
But if you select the balanced power plan again, high performance power plan will disappear! Dont' worry you can restore it easily! Go back to terminal admin and use the up/down arrow key to find the previous commands. Run the command again and high performance power plan will reappear.
Hope this helps!
