Unable to do sfc /scannow in Powershell/command prompt/Terminal and getting Windows Resource Protection Could not Start the Repair Service" in Windows 10 and Windows 11? You can fix it easily! Just run these two commands and hit the enter key after each.

sc.exe config trustedinstaller start=auto
net.exe start trustedinstaller

The first command sets "Windows Modules Installer" service to Automatic. Windows Modules Installer is required to run sfc scans. The second commands starts "Windows Modules Installer" service instantly.

Please restart your computer if the issue persists!

Hope this helps!
