Select "Settings" at the bottom of the menu.
Scroll down and select "Privacy."
Toggle on the "Private Account" option to make your account private.
Once your account is set to private, only people who follow you will be able to see your followers list. Anyone who is not following you will have to send a follow request, which you can choose to accept or decline. Keep in mind that if you have any public posts, they will still be visible to anyone who searches for your username.
