In this video, we will discuss five reasons why you can't lose weight. Watch this video until the end, and you will learn the most common weight loss mistakes to correct them and achieve results easily and quickly.
The first and simplest reason why you can't lose weight is that you're not in a calorie deficit. What is fat? It's stored energy. It doesn't come from nowhere, and to expend this stored energy, you need to create conditions for your body where it will lack energy from the food you eat, and it will start taking it from your reserves, namely your fat. You can create a calorie deficit through physical activity, dietary adjustments, or both combined — thereby making the deficit even greater.
To predictably create a calorie deficit, when you'll precisely understand that you are in a calorie deficit, you need to know the approximate amount of calories you need to expend, and the approximate amount of calories you consume from food and expend through your activity. This is all quite approximate because to calculate everything accurately, you need laboratory conditions, but approximate calculation will be enough for you to understand that you are in a calorie deficit.
To maintain a calorie deficit, determine the amount of calories you need, create a deficit through your diet, so that you don't have enough energy in your food, and your body will lose weight. Second: increase physical activity to increase expenditure, thereby creating an even greater deficit. Every day you will have insufficient energy. It's like a balance in an account: if you stay within this figure, the balance will be deducted from your savings, which you want to eliminate — these energy reserves. This is how a calorie deficit works.
The second reason why you can't lose weight is lack of patience. Over what period did you gain these extra kilograms? You probably want to lose this excess weight in 10 days, 20 days, a week, or a month, but definitely not in a year or two. Why is this process long? Because there are about 8,000 calories in one kilogram of subcutaneous fat, yes, in one kilogram of pure fat there are 9,000 calories, but subcutaneous fat is slightly less because there is water and connective tissue. One hour of training burns about 300 calories, running burns 500 calories. Imagine how much you need to train or run to burn at least 1 kg of fat. Therefore, this deficit needs to be created gradually every day, and ultimately, after a certain period, let's say after 4 months, as with me, it results in a very significant outcome.
