Text Functions in Excel

In this video, I'll show you how to use the Excel Text Functions. Text functions are a powerful way to automatically manipulate text data in Excel. You can use text functions to work with data that has been imported into Excel from external sources, or from other workbooks and this works for all versions of Office including Office 2010, Office 2013, Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft Office 2019 and the popular Office 365.
We'll be looking at the uses of text functions in excel. First, we'll start with the CONCATENATE function. You can use this function to combine strings into one string. We'll then move on to the CONCAT function which also combines strings but is better for when you want to add a space in between strings.

Learn how to use the UPPERCASE function in Excel to convert text into upper case letters. This video tutorial also covers the LOWER function, which converts text to lower case letters and so many other text Functions.
