How to move taskbar in Windows 10 is what we look at in this video. So we essentially move taskbar location. This video will guide you through the quick process, on how to change the taskbar position, step by step. You can move the taskbar in Windows 10 to the top, right, bottom or left side.
This is one of a number of Windows 10 taskbar customization videos that we have made. A Lenovo Legion T530-28ICB Windows PC was used in making this video.
There could be many reasons for you wanting to move your taskbar. Maybe you want better visibility of the screen and it's current position is getting in the way. It may be interrupting your workflow. Or maybe you just fancy a change. There could be numerous reasons. No apps / programs / software are required - just with some very simple changes to your taskbar settings are required. It's easy to do. It's just knowing exactly what to do.

THE DETAIL - HOW TO CHANGE TASKBAR POSITION / MOVE YOUR TASKBAR - WINDOWS 10 👇✅
✅ OVERVIEW 🕖 0:00
✅ STEP 1 - GO TO TASKBAR SETTINGS 🕖 0:04
Hover mouse over taskbar. Right click mouse whilst hovering & go up to 'taskbar settings'.
✅ STEP 2 - UNLOCK THE TASKBAR 🕖 0:36
Next, under the taskbar settings menu, find 'lock the taskbar' and toggle this to OFF. You will notice that the taskbar moves slightly to the left when unlocked.
✅ STEP 3 - MOVE TASKBAR TO RIGHT OF SCREEN WINDOWS 10 🕖 0:47
Then go down the page and find 'taskbar location on screen'. There should be a drop down menu immediately underneath. Select the desired location for the taskbar from the drop down menu. We chose to move the taskbar to the right of screen on our Windows 10 machine / PC. You can also move taskbar location to the top or left of the screen.
You should have now successfully moved your taskbar on your Windows machine! It's easy to move taskbar location.
NOTE: On moving your taskbar, particularly to the left or right side of the screen, you may then find issues in that you then have to scroll across your icons / apps in the taskbar, which is far from ideal, particularly for your productivity.
