Inkscape: How To Convert A PNG Into A Vector Image Using Inkscape
This is a video tutorial on how to convert an image into a vector image using Inkscape. I will be using a desktop PC for this tutorial.
Simple Steps
1. Open your project in Inkscape
2. Right click on your image and choose "Trace Bitmap".
3. In the panel that opens on the right side, you will need to play around with the settings to achieve your desired results.
4. Click on "Apply".
5 Select your image vector, hold down the left mouse button and move your traced image over to expose the original image.
6. You may now select the original image and delete it.
