Very Glad to announce this Sun Apr 9, 11AM ET, I, Prof. Mohammad Hajiaghayi of UMD, will have a live discussion with Prof. Shree Nayar of Columbia University who is a pioneer in computer vision and computational imaging. Prof. Nayaris has been the director of research at Snap Inc. and the recipient of several scientific awards such as Packard Fellowship, IEEE PAMI Distinguished Researcher Award, the Funai Achievement Award, a fellow of several societies and member of several honorary academies such as NAE, NAI, AAA&S (see his wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shree_K... for more details). We plan to have a YouTube Live @hajiaghayi, and simultaneously Live events on Instagram @mhajiaghayi, LinkedIn @Mohammad Hajiaghayi, Twitter @MTHajiaghayi, and Facebook @Mohammad Hajiaghayi on life, and his research and teaching on computer vision, including novel camera development, physics-based models, and image analysis algorithms, as well as their Ph.D. advising, involvement in national academies, major open problems in the field, and practical applications in areas such as imaging, computer vision, robotics, virtual and augmented reality, and human-computer interfaces. Please join us on our simultaneous Lives at YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook and ask questions you may
have.
