In this video I talk about the different versions of portfolio website I have had since I started learning web development.
I made this video to celebrate reaching 2000 subscribers, so thank you to everybody that has subscribed to me up to this point and has gotten me to this awesome milestone!
When building a portfolio website, I think it is most important, first of all to get your skills across as quickly as possible. This can be displayed primarily through the design of the site, and then as you scroll down the page you can see an outlining of skills.
Obviously these websites are an indication of where my skills were at when I first started but I think they say a lot.
A portfolio website as a web developer is a must have today if you are looking for your first job. It can be used as a talking piece in interviews and can be a great way to show off you newly learned skills. So in this video I’ll be showing you each version of a personal portfolio website that I have created since I began studying to be a web developer in 2016.
