Ukraine: Firefighters were working at a parking lot damaged by remains of Russian missiles amid Russia’s attack on Kyiv Tuesday, as the capital suffered its eighth air raid this month.

New Zealand: At least six people are dead and several are missing after a fire at a hostel in the Wellington suburb of Newtown, just after midnight Tuesday, police said, adding the fire was likely not deliberate.
