How to Fix Shadow Issues After Retargeting Animations
Time to share what I’ve learned and I’m back with another Unreal Engine tutorial. In this video we are going to learn How to fix this shadow issue after retargeting animation.
I’ll show three characters with different shadow issues and show the fixes.
First two are most straight forward to fix
UE4 Marketplace characters with no physics asset assigned
Mixamo Character with physics asset assigned
We’ll look into assigning
Physics Assets to the Skeletal Mesh
Adjust the bounds for the mesh blueprint.
Last option is virtual shadow maps
