How to Freeze on Last Frame in After Effects
Learn how to have After Effects play a video to a particular point and then hold on that frame for as long as required. Details below...

Drag the end of a video to the frame where the video is to freeze.
If wanting to align the end to the playhead, holding down the Shift key while dragging will activate snapping.
Right mouse click on the video and choose "Freeze on Last Frame" from the Time section of the menu.
The end of the video can continue to be adjusted after applying this effect.
