Power BI & R: Get Daily Stock Prices Automatically with Windows Task Scheduler,
In the video I have shared a method to use R script to extract free public stock price data from Yahoo Financial site, combine and save them in one file at local drive automatically with the helps of Window task scheduler at daily level, then use power BI csv connector to query the saved data file, you can refresh the desktop file to load latest source data for your reports ,if required, you can also refresh the published reports at power BI services cloud site ( this schedule refresh way requires the On-premises gateway connection setting at service site to your local machine and has not been discussed in the demo)
