Back in the studio: creative portrait session and fine art photography

After two major exhibitions, I’ve returned to shooting in the photo studio. Among the still unpacked works from the exhibitions, it felt wonderful to be creative with photography again. In my studio in Rotterdam, I had a fine art shoot with my model Beau. We have known each other for years and meet almost every year for a conceptual photoshoot. This time, we focused on portrait photography using a mirror and reflections with water in glass. It felt great to be back as a photographer, which is what I truly am at heart. Soon, there will be new exhibitions at art galleries, which is more relaxing since I will be part of a beautiful larger whole and no longer solely responsible for everything.
