I'm thrilled to share with you the incredible adventure I recently had in Italy, where I was honored to receive an award for my fine art photography. The ceremony was held in the Palazzo Borghese in the heart of Florence. With a breathtaking Hall of Mirrors, it was a truly fantastic experience.

But before we dive into the award ceremony, let's rewind a bit. My journey began with exploring the city of Florence a few days earlier. For art lovers like me, Florence is the ultimate pilgrimage, where the masters once walked. From witnessing Botticelli's masterpieces to immersing myself in the ambiance of Palazzo Vecchio, where Da Vinci left his mark – every moment was a revelation.

I laid eyes on Botticelli's Venus; it was a moment that left me speechless and brought tears to my eyes. The Uffizi museum was the best.

And let's not forget the international flavor of the award ceremony! Held in the event centre Palazzo Borghese, it brought together creative minds from all corners of the globe – Taiwan, Australia, Mexico, and a whopping 63 other countries. The energy and camaraderie among these artists were simply electrifying.

As if this journey couldn't get any more magical, just before our departure, we were treated to a serene snowfall, making our arrival at the hotel overlooking the iconic Ponte Vecchio even more enchanting. I've stood on that ancient bridge before, and each time feels like a timeless encounter with history.

So, join me on this incredible trip. This Dutch Fine art Photographer artist on her way to Italy, Florence to visit and celebrate.
