A while ago, I visited Hannelore Houdijk's studio, primarily for the sake of spending time together. However, during our visit, an inspiring idea for a new collaboration emerged. At the time, Hannelore was working on her latest painting, a beautiful still life featuring a cup with a splash effect. The idea arose to each create an artwork in our distinct styles, using the same cup as a starting point. This would result in two pieces representing entirely different disciplines and our individual styles. We have decided to exhibit our artworks side by side, promising to be an exceptionally engaging experience.
The final outcome of Hannelore's work is truly stunning, as are all her paintings. I admire her incredible talent and the limitless patience with which she builds her paintings.
