Artist Life vlog: join me every 2 weeks.

From now on, I'll be sharing glimpses of my life as an artist every two weeks. I believe there's always enough happening to share, and I love expressing my passion. To kick things off, my mother and I fulfilled one of her long-standing wishes with a celebratory trip to the city of Rome. It was an incredible experience, and my sister and I are grateful for the opportunity. Some of you may already know that my mother is battling Alzheimer's disease, but despite this challenging journey, life goes on. I aim to raise awareness while showcasing that beautiful, almost unforgettable moments can still be created.

I was in Rome for fun and unexpectedly found a business opportunity while exploring. In a charming alley, I stumbled upon the first workshop of authentic artisan framemakers. One created new frames, and another sold antique frames. I even got to touch a frame from the 1300s. The footage might be a bit shaky as my excitement got the best of me – I tend to talk with my hands, Italian style. The best part? They also ship to the Netherlands. Stay tuned for more!

Back in the photo studio, I had a delightful photo shoot with the lovely and lively violinist, Romy. She is not only a tremendous talent but also exudes a vibrant personality. I adorned her in a pink dress, bringing joy to the session. Coincidentally, we had one of her concerts scheduled, and as always, we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. This concert took place in my favorite church in my hometown—the same venue where I had a significant exhibition last year.

The concert was organized by Anke, a concert pianist who brings together top-notch musicians for her events called "Anke and Friends." Highly recommended, be sure to check the schedule of this cultural hotspot in my area.
