POMEGRANATE CHIA SEED PUDDING
Ingredients
Here's what you need to get some tart flavor with beautiful splashes of red color having an amazingly sweet taste.
o For Chia seed pudding:
1. Milk: I use full-fat coconut milk
2. Chia Seeds
o For Pomegranate Chia Seed Pudding:
3. Pomegranate
4. Pomegranate Syrup
5. Ground Cinnamon
6. Salt
Alternative:
This recipe asks for pomegranate and its syrup. Because in the United States, they are in a season that starts in September and ends in December. While there are some countries including the United Kingdom, that import large volumes of pomegranate from Peru and Turkey. So if you can't find this fruit, you can easily use pomegranate molasses from different brands.
Ingredient’s Quantity:
1. Coconut Milk: 1 Can
2. Chia Seeds: ¼ Cup
3. Pomegranate: 1
4. Ground Cinnamon: ½ Teaspoon
5. Salt: To taste
6. Pomegranate Syrup: 1 Tablespoon
Instructions:
o For Chia Seed Pudding:
1. Take a jar and start by mixing the chia seeds in the coconut milk.
2. Keep the mixture aside and then stir it well after 10 minutes.
3. Wait until the chia seeds absorb the milk and settle on the bottom.
For Pomegranate Chia Seed Pudding:
4. Add pomegranate syrup, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the chia seed pudding.
5. Remove the seeds from the pomegranate.
6. Add a topping of seeds to the chia seed pudding and enjoy a chilled time.
Classic Chia Pudding
Ingredients Quantity:
1. Milk: 2 cups (I use almond milk)
2. Chia Seeds: ½ Cup
3. Vanilla Extract: 2 teaspoons
4. Maple syrup: 2 tablespoons
Instruction to make:
1. Add chia seeds into a bowl and add milk along with maple syrup and vanilla extract.
2. Whisk everything well until the mixture gets thick (1-2 minutes).
3. Cover the bowl and place it into the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. For best results, I would recommend you prepare the mixture at night and refrigerate it overnight.
4. Add fresh toppings by using berries, sliced grapes, or nuts- if desired.
5. Enjoy your Classic Chia Pudding and refuel yourself.
Raspberry Chia Pudding
Must haves:
1. 1 Cup Frozen or fresh Raspberries
2. 3 Tablespoons of Chia seeds
3. 1 Cup Milk: (Skim milk, coconut milk, or almond milk)
4. 1 Teaspoon Maple syrup
5. ½ Teaspoon Vanilla extract
Optional for topping:
6. Kiwi
7. Nut butter
8. Chopped Banana
Alternative:
1. Maple syrup: You can use any sweetener of your choices like coconut sugar, honey, or chocolate sauce.
2. Milk: If you are going to make this recipe with thick coconut milk, then make sure to dilute it with ¼ cup of water.
3. Vanilla Extract: For flavorings, lemon zest, ground cinnamon, or fruit extracts, any of them will work.
Instructions:
1. Mash raspberries in a bowl and make sure there are no clumps in it.
