Basics of Using Index, Row, and Column Formulas in Google Sheets
This video teaches beginners how to use the index, row, and column formulas in Google Sheets. The video explains the basic structure of a sheet, how to unlock it, and provides examples of how to use these formulas for basic math, referencing other pages, and business models. The index formula can be used to find any particular cell at any particular place that you know how many rows and columns it is. The row and column formulas are used to find out which row or column the cell that you're in is on. These formulas are useful for quick math and finding out what number a column is. The video also shows how to concatenate row and column together to find every single position in a sheet and how to reference other cells using the index formula.
