POV: you’re a bird on 4th of July
Good thing is that most of the fireworks shows are at night, when birds are less active. Also fireworks tend to be at a somewhat consistent height (not going above or below a certain point) and typically are in a defined area so people can watch. That all of course only applying to the proper organized shows, as opposed to what people like that one fun uncle of yours gets up to, on this fine holiday. The one day of the year we only really know one thing, be a fair few people waking up on the next with less fingers than they had today.
The humor here comes from birds annually experiencing what to them must feel like anti aircraft fire from the 4th of July celebrations. I guess also New Years
