How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the replacement top clips for your 20K and 24K CURT 5th wheel hitches. This is a replacement part for the clip that goes on top of the bar for your head, to attach it to the head assembly. It's secured using these pins that are on the rear, and you just pull out. And not only does your clamp offer a measure of security for the head, it's also padded on the inside to work as some shock absorption to give you a smoother ride. This is the only part. You're gonna get two of these guys in the clip.
And the ones that are in the kit, they install exactly the same way as the OEM parts. So we're just gonna reinstall our clamp using our pin. All right, and with it reinstalled, as you can see, it goes in the exact same way it comes out. And this is gonna come in handy if you we inchesre to ever lose one of these guys or somehow manage to damage them. They are very thick steel.
They're powder coated, and, I mean, rated up to 24K even if you have a 20K 5th wheel. So it's a great replacement part and it'll fit right in just like the original equipment.
