How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Replacement Handle for your Q-Series Fifth Wheel Hitch. So this is a direct replacement for the handle that came with your Q-Series hitch. I have a Q20 in the bed of the truck right here, and as you can see, it's the exact same part. So replacing a handle, the most common thing that you're going to encounter is coming to some type of damage on the handle itself. As you can see right here, it says not a step, but who knows may who may get in and out of your bed. If you have a issue backing up where you're not quite lined up, you may have an issue where you damage the handle, and this is gonna allow you to replace it with a direct replacement.
Your handle is secured using the pin and retainment clip here, so just so you can see when it's engaged, it's not gonna allow you to open the jaws and when it's out, it does. So it's a great way to just keep everything nice and safe when you're not towing, so you don't have any accidental clamping of hands or fingers. You also have a indicator on the bar of your handle here to let you know when you're unsafe, when you're ready to couple, and when you're ready to tow. And it's secured to the hitch itself just by this one single bolt. There's a bolt and a nut, and you have a chain for your pin and clip.
This has been a look at the Replacement Handle for your Q-Series Fifth Wheel Hitch from CURT. I'm Ed, this is etrailer.com, and you have a great day.
