It has been so incredible to see another side of the Philippines that I really didn’t even know existed. My original plan was just to do 3 weeks in the south and then leave to Malaysia. After those first 3 weeks ended, I realized I wanted to come back, but I still thought I would just do the south and more beaches. Once the idea of going north was suggested, I realized there’s SO much more to see here. Thanks @mikeybrown.mb 🫡

✨A few more things to note✨
It is a MISSION to get to some of these places and would be an entirely different experience navigating all this solo. Doable? Yes, just would involve more planning and be more expensive.
All of the accom was booked either day of or day prior and majority of the transportation is just a find it, show up and book then situation.
You need guides for a lot of the activities up north (even a simple hike) and there’s tourism fees nearly everywhere.
There seems to be little to no info on a lot of this online and I think we went 3 days without seeing a single other foreigner?
