Split Columns by Levels | Revit Buttons ✅
✂️ I found this issue has been ongoing for years leading to 📄 feature requests for Revit, 💻 all sorts of scripts/apps and 📢 Autodesk publishing a 9-step method trying to solve it (which took me more than 10 minutes to figure it out 🤯).
👨💻 So, I made a small Revit button to try to split / cut columns by levels. I think the best part is that I can select the levels I want, to cut the columns and set a gap / offset to meet floors or slabs.
