✂️ The most challenging small Revit tool I´ve ever made and all the effort was worth it…
I finally found a way to Split Floors in Revit.
🤷 I agreed that we needed more options with Floors than Create Parts or redrawing them manually. (Not my idea, 🏆 link below)
👨💻 So, I tried to improve that and made a small Revit button to Split Floors with rooms, lines or curves. (Coding Tip at the end).
🥖 Fresh bread from the oven… I published it in NonicaTab PRO.

03:50 Split Floor with Rooms
Coding Tip: For islands on the floor, it creates a floor opening + a new floor. For intersecting with the edges, it uses curve.Intersect(floor_edge) to find the intersections, sort 2 CurveLoops and create the 2 new floors (+ copy all parameters from the old).
