Introduction To Microsoft Universal Print
Microsoft have released Microsoft Universal Print. This is a cloud based print solution to allow you to share printers through the cloud.

All in all this looks like it is going to be a good solution moving forward. I have not tested this in a production environment. I have only done it in testing, but the concept makes sense. With the whole moving away from servers and moving to cloud based infrastructure stuff managing printers is a real issue, typically I would normally setup print drivers on a server & deploy using group policy but if you do not have a server it is quite hard to do that. Microsoft Universal Print seems like it will be a good solution to the situation where you are running a cloud first model and do not want to have servers.
