A quick look at the various upscaling techniques available in God of War. This footage was recorded at 4k.

Key findings:
-DLSS works incredibly in this game, I'd recommend performance mode at 4k. Quality mode is just as good as native 4k in my opinion.
-FSR works great, with quality giving you the best balance between performance and image quality. Ultra Quality gets close to looking like native 4k but it's not quite there. In my opinion AMD should increase Ultra Quality's base resolution slightly, maybe to around 1800p.
The game's built-in render scale looks bad, so use FSR or DLSS instead. My best guess is that this upscaling method doesn't incorporate TAA simultaneously like all the best temporal reconstruction methods do.
The main takeaway is that modern upscaling/reconstruction methods are impressive, so much so that it makes little sense to run at native 4k, if you use DLSS or FSR at their highest respective settings you can save a significant amount of performance with only slight image degradation.
