Edit: It's possible I was CPU bound here so the performance modes might not be too accurate. I'll be retesting the modes at 4k.

A quick video to compare the different DLSS modes in Crysis remastered. This footage was captured at 1440p.

Key findings:
All forms of DLSS and the game's TAA has minor trails or "smearing" behind certain objects, here for instance it's the birds in the sky. This artifact is most apparent with Ultra performance DLSS followed by the game's standard TAA.
There is also ghosting behind the radar dish in all the DLSS modes except for Ultra Performance. I'm not sure why exactly, it looks like Ultra performance uses a weaker form of TAA, or DLSS is just struggling with the low input resolution?
DLSS does a better job of anti-aliasing in general because of it's stronger temporal element, you can see this most obviously on the palm fronds. Shadows are also more stable with less flickering.
However, DLSS has shimmering on distant objects with high contrast, which you can see along the ledge and treeline atop the cliffs. Though I should make it clear whilst actually playing the game this is far more difficult to spot. At 4k its hardly noticeable.
DLSS does provide the most stable image quality and by far the best performance out of the games AA options, and despite it's minor flaws it really does improve the overall experience of the game.
In my opinion you should go with balanced at 1440p and performance at 4k.
