I recently got my hands on Damage 2 by Heavyocity and man, oh man, is it an impressive instrument library.

I have already done dedicated video tutorials for the main instruments; ensemble designer, kit designer, and the loop designer. I go into each one for about 10 minutes, reviewing all the key features and giving plenty of audio examples.

In this tutorial, I show you how to use standard MIDI clips to generate cinematic percussion ideas using the Ensemble Designer in Ableton Live. For the most part this is pretty straight forward.

However, if you stick around to the end, you will see how to send the MIDI information from Sugarbytes Drum Computer VSTi Plugin to trigger the drums in Damage 2 and the results are mind blowing!
