Forza Horizon 5: Best anti-aliasing setting, all MSAA and FXAA levels tested.
Forza Horizon 5 MSAA and FXAA test to show the visual benefits of each technology and their respective costs. Tested at 1440p.
Key findings:
A combination of MSAA + FXAA provides the best anti-aliasing.
FXAA does cause slight blurring.
4x MSAA and 8x MSAA look similar, if you are short on VRAM I would recommend 4x MSAA.
If you wish to improve the AA further you can also downsample from a higher resolution.
