This is my instructional keyboard cover of REO Speedwagon's "Roll With the Changes", which I am publishing under the "fair use" doctrine. This video contains only keyboard and drums and is meant to show how the song might be played in a live setting, along with a band.
I've selected a bright piano patch for the lower Roland Fantom X7 keyboard. The upper Roland JV-90 keyboard is configured to play a Hammond-style organ patch (which is actually coming from the Fantom X7).
First off, let me say that I am NOT a piano player (as you can tell). Learning the piano part (or, what I believe to be the piano part) took a lot of watching REO concert videos and a lot of rewinding. The piano has a certain groove to it, so I've tried to approximate it the best I can (I'm no Kevin Cronin! ;-) ).
During the organ solo, the bass player plays basic piano chords with his Keith McMillen 12 Step MIDI footpedal. If I had four hands, I'd play it, myself...LOL
Anyway, there are lots of mistakes but, hopefully, you can get a feel for the song.
