This is my instructional keyboard cover of Alan Parsons Project's "Games People Play", which I am publishing under the "fair use" doctrine.
As with a few of my other videos, this cover is just me playing along to a MIDI track (in this case, the sequenced synth part). I believe I'm using a modified string patch for the synth.
Although the song is kind of basic, I really like the chord progressions and voicings. It's a really catchy tune.
I skipped most of the bridge/interlude because it's long and I haven't memorized it (plus, I think the bridge was mainly added for effect). I think most folks will get pretty bored with this cover, since I'm not playing along to any other parts. But, hopefully, there is enough repetition that folks can see exactly what I'm playing.
My band has started playing this song and it has been sounding pretty good. The thing is, our drummer must play to a click track, so that everyone plays in time to the sequenced synth. We're just starting to get used to playing along to the click, but it's coming along pretty well. :-)
