Bucharest Horticultural Autumn – Harvest Day, the most important event of the season, took place between October 3-6, 2024, at the USAMV Bucharest campus.

More than 150 horticulture exhibitors who exhibit and sell to the general public a varied range of plants, bulbs, flowers, gardening products and traditional delicacies, will meet between October 3-6, 2024, in the Herăstrău Agronomy Campus on the occasion of the Autumn event Bucharest Garden - Harvest Day 2024. The theme of this edition is the urban forest, with its interconnections and benefits for the lives of people in cities. The Faculty of Horticulture, through the Landscape department, offers several "oases" of relaxation and interaction with visitors, who can experience the feeling of connection with the forest, feel the benefits of nature, by amplifying the sensory experience given by listening (in headphones) to the "quietness" of the forest: the wind blowing through the leaves, the chirping of the birds, the rustling of the leaves, etc. In autumn, the fruits are counted, and the Faculty of Horticulture organizes a thematic exhibition on Harvest Day and invites you to numerous tasting sessions of table grapes, wine, must, peppers and fruits and fruit products from new fruit species, such as asimina/northern banana, jujube or kiwi.
