The 8th edition of Spotlight – the International Light Festival transforms the Capital, between October 11 and 13, into an open stage with impressive video mapping shows on historic buildings, multimedia installations and interactive experiences. Bucharest's most popular visual art event is organized by the Capital City Hall, through ARCUB - the Cultural Center of the City of Bucharest, with the support of Raiffeisen Bank Romania and PPC, and brings together local and international artists whose creations reconfigure Calea Victoriei and the ARCUB building – The Gabroveni Inn with moments of light and color that will fascinate the audience.

The Spotlight 2024 edition, entitled Bucharest 565. Urban Connections, focuses on a complex theme that reflects the interaction between new media art and contemporary challenges. Through interactive installations, video mapping projections and light shows, the festival offers an artistic interpretation of how urban communities develop, influenced by technological evolution and the increasingly acute need to protect the environment. The public is invited to explore various aspects of modern urban life, from the human-nature connection to the sustainable future of cities, through the prism of digital art that transforms Bucharest into the cultural hub of the moment.
Also, the route of this edition includes emblematic buildings and locations in the Capital: the National Military Circle, the Odeon Theatre, the Palace of Telephones, the Novotel Hotel, the Music Store, Revolution Square, the Central University Library, the National Art Museum of Romania, George Enescu Square and Hotel InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest. The Spotlight 2024 program starts at 19:00 on each day of the festival and ends at 23:00.
