OpenAI Explorer for SketchUp Introduction (i.e. use AI to DRAW in SketchUp!)
In this tutorial I demonstrate how you can use AI to draw (or modify) geometry in SketchUp. This is a bit experimental at this point, but I have packaged the code behind this in a nice extension so that everyone can try this out. All you need is an account with OpenAI (and an API Key) to get this started.
Once you are set up, here are some sample prompts that you can use in SketchUp:
“Draw 20 lines of random orientation and length”
“Color the items in the selection randomly in five different blue tones”
“Scale each item in the selection randomly in z direction”
