Sony PSP 2003 Analog Stick - Can we Repair or time to Replace it?
Checking through my collection of Sony PSP game consoles I came across this one with a bad analog stick. It's not completely broken but it is very unresonsive when moving in certain directions.
After removing the original, I try taking it apart to see if can be repaired. I also try the calibration to see if that helps.
If you need a replacement analog stick firstly make sure you are buying the correct one for the model you are repairing. To find this out, remove the battery and you will see the model number underneath.
You can find a replacement analog stick easily on ebay or Amazon or any retro repair shop online should be able to supply you a new one. At the time of uploading (jan 2024) a replacement will cost approximatly £5($6)
