Bhante Indarathana is from Sri Lanka and is currently the Resident Monk at the Subang Jaya Buddhist Association in Selangor, Malaysia. His spiritual journey began at the age of 11 under the guidance of the Most Ven. B. Chandananda Maha Thera in 1997. He received intensive spiritual education at Sri Medankara Pirivena and received his Higher Ordination (Upasampada) in 2007.
Bhante Inda has a Law Degree (LLB) from the University of Colombo and a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from HELP University in Kuala Lumpur. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Malaya. Since 2012, he has been dedicated to spreading Buddhist teachings in Malaysia under the guidance of the Most Ven. B. Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera.
Bhante offers Buddhist counselling services and spiritual guidance to all walks of life using ancient Buddhist wisdom combined with modern psychotherapy.
