Cambodia’s most impressive group of pre-Angkorian monuments, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sambor Prei Kuk was an ancient city of temples built to honour the Hindu god Shiva in the 6th century AD. Sambor Prei Kuk is in Kampong Thom, an easy 195km drive from Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia.
